Pingshan New district is easily accessible to the centre of Shenzhen via the Shenzhen-Shantou expressway. Located along Xikao Xinkang road and Xiusha road to the east, the two parcels form a major urban renewal strategy to attract new industry and new population, the marketing and planning of the units are anchored on promoting work-live-leisure-socialisation as a new form of habitation.

Work, live, socialisation and leisure are blurred in a multi-faceted, interactive manner attracting millennials and generations that are looking for alternative living styles. Positioning the alternative living standards also allows the district to slowly evolve towards the creative and new economy industry as the population begins to shift.

Distinct Residential Units create new market tendencies – Efficient and transformable live-work Studios & 1 bedrooms make up the bulk of the unit percentage. Corner units are composed of larger 2 bedroom units. Distinctive units ( loft and duplex ) articulate and create an architectural feature at strategic corners and placed at upper zone for visibility. Unit diversity and special features help to create a community of young and affluent residents driving the urbanization of the district, transforming the industrial zone into a hip and trendy area. Special elevated residential community gardens ( sky-gardens / sky-terraces ) are carved into each residential tower to offer residences unique sky gardens at designated levels for social and leisure spaces within proximity.

Street Retail –public realm urban niche – Street retail on the ground floor is designed with public realm as an integrated experience by carving out pockets of small plazas and social gathering public spaces to enhance the public experience and offer each retail an identity and placemaking. Street retail value is enhanced by public realm niche bring unique identity and experience to the streetscape.
